What's new

I have a a scheduled date!

I also order May 8, red, level 1 --- noting so far. But congrats to fellow may-8. I heard that was a bad day as they shut down and reopened around that time. Been hanging out at 'D', when I got VIN. Dealer confirmed still at 'D' yesterday.

Will be interesting to see when folks actually get their keys.
Im May 8 too. SMH

Arguably it's not progress. Remember, the early orders that were built went D1 before the September and October orders were even taken. The July, August, October and September orders orders are still going D1 at a greater clip. Ram blew smoke up their ass.View attachment 849

What smoke? Whose rear end?

I said that ram acknowledged there was a problem and that they were working on it. Never said it WAS fixed or was going to be exactly what you or I wanted to happen. I said they heard our message loud and clear. This is not an email from RAM, they're not calling me and telling me bedtime stories, this is data that I pulled from the ordering system showing what I actually see on my end. I do that for your benefit as a customer base. Some people find it interesting, some find it helpful, and clearly some of you find it infuriating.

Results are what matters - so far, there are no results. There are indicators, that based on past performance we can adjust some expectations - but also there is new information this go-round that makes it different to do so compared to TRX/392 or every day 1500s as well. So far, not a single truck has shipped. So there are no results. The indicators, which is the data that I can share - look a WHOLE lot better from 10/4 than they did on 9/19. 10/11 looked OKAY not great not terrible.

You are great Anthony, don't know how you put up with us, especially that you warned us all on day one.
I say that but also want to add a recommendation to Ram to delete the April and May orders and start from June on. It would make everything better. Focus really hard on June orders. Those poor guys are neither there or here, not the earliest nor the latest, but, a very important subgroup.

What are you even talking about? Delete April and May orders?

You guys are crazy getting me worked up in the morning

Not likely. In the past, it has meant that their local holding facility (for pending repairs) is full. So they ship them to another location until the backlog is cleared.
This happened with the 2022 models, as an example. Uconnect5 was a disaster, and they had to hold tens of thousands of trucks until the software fix was done and they could update all of them manually. So many of them went to “storage” for several weeks. And I hate to tell you this, but the ones in storage took a back seat to the ones rolling off the production line. In other words, it isn’t a first-in-first-out system by any means.

Very well could be the case. This truck is a toy for me and in the end even though I am excited to get it there is no rush. The guy in here looking at people’s VIN said no repairs though. Dealer just texted me and said ship date is pushed back to the 26th. I figured it would be November all along, so we will see.

Tracker showing scheduled 10/10 this morning.

Ordered 6/27
Silver, level 1, pano

I was just informed by Koons my truck is in paint (F). With an estimated ship date of 10/16/24. I ordered on July 2nd.
in your case "ship" means when it ships off the assembly line.

it will be weeks before it gets its transportation to your dealer.

Today is 111 days still in Deez status not as long as some that is all
134 days here. Still patient, just want it reliable! I am glad we have had some info from the Texas State Fair, that has helped. I forget when the media day is, but I think soon, that should help too, and hopefully the first ones are delivered in a month or so. Having some info feels a little like movement, unlike production!

I am at day 158 boys. D all the way.

So I shouldn't complain because it's 115 days for me. Sigh, but I really need my truck!! It's not a want, it's a need.

169 days here

157 days, is there life after "D"?
