It looks like they are charging you for 7-9 hours when it takes 4 max. That's high.

I looked up Source EP…on a Ram invoice it means “Employee Price”.
Center screen integration?????????I looked up Source EP…on a Ram invoice it means “Employee Price”.
Hmmmm…I was thinking it was “Estimated Price”, since they don’t really know how long it will take on an RHO. Guaranty they have never done one before & there may only be a “book time” available for other models or prior years.
I am definitely having mine done at a dealer to get the full warranty & center screen integration.
Let’s you control the power running boards from your UConnect.Center screen integration?????????
No it will be exact@AnthonyRI any chance we can get a ballpark quote on what your dealership would charge for the automatic running boards w/ install?
Ya I watched a few videos on the install for mopar power boards on a TRX. Took the guys 2 hours cause you gotta go through the firewall then they took it to the dealer to flash. I get the warranty side. Just seems excessive to charge half the price of the boards on labor. The sheet I shared is from the dealership. They said they'd need to re-flash the VIN after the install to get it all integrated and hooked up, maybe thats why the extra hours? Wild. I thought the RHO would have the option for auto-boards but yeah, seems like that and the TRX are just fixed, which I don't like.
I am not worried about controlling the power running boards through Uconnect. I just need them to open when I open the doors. The sheet I shared is from the dealership. Yeah I agree..I can't imagine when I would find this useful.I am not worried about controlling the power running boards through Uconnect. I just need them to open when I open the doors.
When washing them is only thing I can think of.Yeah I agree..I can't imagine when I would find this useful.
At least on my Denali there's a button on the running boards you can kick and it'll pop out without the door being open. But yeah if that isn't a thing in the Rams then I could see it being useful. When washing them is only thing I can think of.
Same here with Rough Country power steps.I have the Amp power boards, so there's no button in Uconnect. So I use the old-school method to keep the boards down (for washing, or keeping car doors from bumping me). I just keep my foot on the board when I close the door. As soon as the motor tries to retract and senses pressure, it stops. The board stays down until I open/close the door again.
Unless you have a seperate hard wire switch somewhere in the system running board function on screen is sometimes helpful. Especially when washing the truck or washing the actual boards. At least a way to keep extended and not have to have a door open. A safety feature does not allow driving on the highway with them deployed.Yeah I agree..I can't imagine when I would find this useful.
Deployed, they help prevent door dings in parking lot situations if you leave them down.Yeah I agree..I can't imagine when I would find this useful.
Shop online on Ramtrucks.com went up from 39 trucks to 98 in the past 2 weeks but you're right. I thought they would be pumping out 20 trucks a day by now. This sucks.well seems like things have been quiet for 2 weeks now. any new scheduled dates for anyone? is Ram taking a pause on building the RHO? seems like over a month into when they started things would be rolling at this point.
Yeah how many pre orders are there? Like 3k? At that rate it’ll be 2028 by the time we get our trucks lolShop online on Ramtrucks.com went up from 39 trucks to 98 in the past 2 weeks but you're right. I thought they would be pumping out 20 trucks a day by now. This sucks.
