For those of you that have moved into D1 or further, does Ram send you an email every time your status updates? Or do you have to be checking your tracker everyday like the crazy person that I am?

I placed my order 2 days ago in Canada, and the only option of the RHO is a fully loaded truck. In D status, the dealer said it would be here in 3 months. Anyone Canadian buyers around here?

I went and spoke with my dealer today to see about adding running boards to my order. It seems they wanted me to get the running boards from them and they'd install them after the truck gets there. It was about an additional $3K, but while I was there I was asking what they knew about the delivery dates, they said 3 months, end of Dec seems to be the tentative shipping timeline.

Mopar power running boards are $1700. 4 hours labor. $3k seems high.

Dang, for that labor cost, I could:

• Buy a round trip airplane ticket, and fly to you ($400)
• Rent a car for a day ($75)
• Install for 4 hours at $75/hr ($300)
• Buy a $100 steak dinner on the way back to the airport
• Fill up the rental car ($25)
• Buy the wife a $100 bottle of wine when I get home to apologize for being gone all day

And still have $80 left over.

Power running boards aren’t an factory option on the RHO (and they weren’t on the TRX either). Only the ugly fixed boards.

I’m pretty sure my tracker is just stuck. I’ve been D1 based on the tracker since 9/24, the nice guy on the other thread that’s looking up VINs said I was D2 last week. And 2 days ago my dealer said I’m D1 estimated to ship 10/30. So I’m about 90% sure my truck has been in production a few days but who knows.
