In production - build

So what is the consensus on time to ship from “built” status? Just curious if a few of y’all have any idea, or what some of the factors may be. My truck was “built” 12/5, but with the holidays around the corner I’m not holding my breath it will ship anytime soon. Any info would be appreciated
My FBM went to "In Production " on Dec 3. The Estimated Delivery Date has gone from Jan 27, to Feb 05, to Feb 17 over the last three days.

I think the factories are still in a state of flux and trying to find their new equilibrium with the change in RAM business and US political leadership.

All it takes in not paying a certain vendor for a critical part to halt production. My guess is former RAM Leadership was doing just that to entice the manufacturing move to Mexico.

Those supply lines take a bit of time to move more fluidly.

When mine entered production I had a Jan 30th delivery date. It was built Nov 30th, and has been in KZP status for over a week. Who knows when I’ll get it. Guess I won’t be getting it for Christmas haha.

Tracker updated, I’ll update when it actually arrives for a general timeline. Seems like things are all over the place for everyones timelines in each stage so we’ll see🤷‍♂️
Damn, 2 months is crazy, do you know what was the issue?

Any idea why I would get this when I try to view my window sticker? Truck status is “Built”

Typed my VIN & message said "sorry, winder sticker is unavailable for this VIN".

Another Level 0 order kick in the groin!

Dealer told me on Dec 5th mine reflected as shipped on his side. My tracker updated yesterday (7th- and my birthday- good gift!) from built to shipped. He told me ETA was the 19th-30th. Tracker says 30th.

We’ll see!

That’s so crazy, mine was a May 7th order went into production Oct 15th, im still stuck at the body vendor, and all I got was bed utility group w/bed liner. Im beginning to think that something is wrong with my truck. I’ve seen a lot of trucks start production way after mine and are taking delivery. Starting to get discouraged. It’s been at the body vendor since 11/7. How does it take a month at the body vendor. SMH

very interesting, as my truck is close to yours… production 11/30 and built 12/5. My original arrival date before it was “built” was 2/14/25 but now just says TBD. Thanks for the insight, would be an awesome surprise to have it before the EOY but I won’t hold my breathe.

That's how it's looking for me too. I think you're right that there's some sort of issue with the truck. Either it happens at the body vendor or is discovered there. Regardless, it seems to take a long time for them to fix it. Only other thing I can think of is that when our truck was brought there it was placed at the very back of the line and other trucks are getting ahead somehow.

At least if there's a problem with the truck then that means it'll be dealt with there so we won't have to deal with it, but we'll see.

My truck was built on Dec 5th and released to shipping. I’m sssuming everyone done on the 5th is in the same boat.

To be fair, there's a lot of stuff wrong with the trucks they are releasing too. I don't think any of this has logical explanations. If you just accept that the Stellantis logistics dept is a monkey with a typewriter it all makes more sense.

I agree, this is the first week that I have been irritated since the start.

Mine was build Nov 22nd and still has not been released to shipping. I would love to know the secret here as folks that ordered within weeks of opening have had no progress while others that ordered two months ago are getting trucks and then some get built and sit for over a month while others ship immediately. Are they doing the quality checks after the build date or before?

all QC must be done prior to it being released for shipping.

I understand that - my question was when that stage is reflected in the status tracker? I was "in production" for two months so assumed that included QC as it does not take two months to build the truck. I have not seen any updates for two weeks since it moved to "vehicle built" so was curious if now it is actually in QC or just sitting waiting to ship?

Per my salesperson (MD) it’s sitting waiting on shipping. So my assumption is that all checks have been done during the production process.

I think they are catching some issues (see the misfire thread above), and they are trying to get the situation corrected. I ordered in May and haven't seen any movement and to be honest, I am kind of happy about it. Build 500 then build mine and I will be ok. I actually love my current truck and don't want to sell it, pick up my RHO, and have it in the shop for a month chasing glitches.
