Anyone with any experience with Diablosport? I wonder how similar it is to the JB4?

It's a piggy back that misreports the sensor information to increase boost pressure at the risk of excessive knock events. Like the JB4 its a very hack tuning solution. You won't find anyone recommending tuning boxes over proper tunes - only in the absence of an available tune are these products used. They're claim to fame is they can be removed before taking your vehicle into the dealer to replace the blown engine under warranty.

I understand how they work. My ask is if anyone has experience with them. Currently this is the only way to increase HP and Torque and yes while under warranty, very few want a "tune" inside the factory ECU that will be recorded.

^ what I'm saying Chris is that unless you can clear the EEPROM with an ECU tune - flash back to stock with your original untuned EEPROM data... your piggy back data will be recorded.

Yes, positive experience here with Diablosport but it's been many years. I'd certainly take them up on the offer if presented it!

My wife is onboard! It’s freezing down here so may not be installed until next week.

Nothing at all. There are 3 tunes and throttle adjustments available. It’s all tracked through their software.

They bring vehicles to life like magicians. At least, that's how it was back in the early 2000s in Florida before they were bought by Holley. They were major player in SVT Cobra market.

I don’t know..guessing maybe it’s HO specific? It’s a Rev 7 harness so there were 6 before it

Thank you for that endorsement. It’s always a crapshoot when someone gets bought but there are times they keep the core to not disrupt the legacy they paid for

Looking forward to your install and I’m wondering what that’ll do. Like with the JB4, you can set different maps for different power numbers. I wonder if this will be somewhat the same. Like asked earlier, I wonder what gains you can achieve. Diablosport hasn’t mentioned anything about that?

I think it just boils down to ego for him. I think he means well. He just wants to portray superiority, even if he doesn’t have a product.
