Yep I sold too and now stuck with a rental. I agree that it seems like a month is excessive for inspection and delivery. I guess they are just dealing with tons of orders and can’t keep up.

I = Inspection happens before it is released to shipping. This is part of the production stages.
K = (group of all shipping status's) takes on average 21 days (out of the MD completed transactions so far)

Estimated Delivery Date on your tracker is generated by magic eight ball.
What is important is once it is on a train, what is the ETA of that train to get to it's final rail stop.
Once it is unloaded, there are no more incremental steps in between it being at rail stop, and being at Mark Dodge. It's less than a 3 hour drive.
Just takes them time to work through it all and get the vehicles to us.

We are turning them very fast, as we have an entirely separate facility to do PDI.

I got the call yesterday from MD and will be heading over there this morning. Very excited to see how this drives. I think the black on black at the back of this load could have been mine. I was first notified by MD that it was received in Pearland on Jan 4. My tracker said Jan 10 initially and then Jan 20.

Was initially notified of truck being at Port on 11/30/24. That email notification stated a 1-14 day period to get to the dealership. As that time period passed I reached out and was informed about the possible battery issue. I reached out again with the possibility of a Christmas or New Year’s Miracle, but those did not happen. Now at day 45 I’m not sure if the delivery will ever occur. One bonus cash allowance has expired and my second one expires next week. I’ll continue to try for a third with the expectation that the truck will not be delivered to the dealership before then.

See this is what's insane. It seems like your situation is one in which nobody seems to think it's their problem. Dealer can't help, port can't help, Ram can't be bothered. Bermuda triangle.

I really feel for you because I think your situation is uniquely absent of a path to resolution.

I picked mine up today and saw a Red RHO being offloaded. I saw another truck heading east in I10 bringing another load with at least one RHO.
Robert at MD took care of me and got me $2000 in rebate coupons since I was unable to get a fresh one to pop on my computer.

Just got the call my truck arrived today. It arrived at Pearland 1/4 and had an original delivery da tree to dealer of 1/16. It changed to 1/24 on tracker but it did arrive today to MD.

My paperwork is complete and my wire was received first thing yesterday by MD, but I'm still waiting on shipping costs and confirmation that PDI is 100% and there are no problems. I might just show up on their doorstep at this rate. Lol

Anthony sent it a couple weeks ago. I left a voicemail with MD earlier this morning and Robert called me back. He said they're getting them as fast as they can and the guy managing the rail yard is actually doing a great job. He said maybe two out the many RHOs to hit the railyard have had something like a battery issue, and they are working on those. He didn't think mine had an issue. He also said they're crazy busy and he's now getting around 20 RHOs a day. I'm not too worried about it. These guys are all over this shit. It's how they make money. They are moving a ton of volume.
