What's new

Media Test Drives Are Out (MT, C&D, R&T, etc..)!!!

I will spend $90,000 by the time I put plates and some window tint on her. Who gives a shit about gas mileage at that point. Especially if it goes back to prices it was 4+ years ago, which I expect it might.

I don't get the MPG nitpicks - a 540 HP truck is not good for MPG, it's simple physics
15 mpg is great for 540 hp. Mileage also affected my purchasing an RHO over a gently used TRX.

Lol..would it be a nitpic if yours arrives and it has “440” hp and 400 torque? Point is simply for some that Ram indicated a way higher mpg than what it really is. Agree its big yada yada, powerful, etc and why expect great gas mileage. I dont think ridiculous to think they might hit the target they said they would.

I watched all of the reviews posted in this thread and didn't see a single thing that puts me off the RHO. If it's just MPG or exhaust sound, it seems people were looking at this thing for the wrong reason.

I’ll bet the original mpg numbers reflected this engine without the lift, tires and body dynamics that separate the RHO. probably the numbers of a sst bighorn or similar

@AnthonyRI

The CEO mentioned dealer stock orders. Is there any word on that, or as far as you guys know, it's just sold orders still?

The question is, what did she mean by sold out orders?

I've own a number of vehicles in my years of driving (purchased and built) and every one varies greatly in mileage from EPA rated values. Throw in environment and driver variables and it makes sense. EPA rated numbers are just a guide unlike HP / TQ ratings. Control the variables and I bet the RHO could exceed rated numbers. For example my DDHC can exceed the rated 17mpg highway but drive normal or heavy and I'm averaging 9 or 10 mpg. Boosted motors vary greatly depending on how you drive them and this HO motor pushing 24 or 28psi will need fuel to keep AF ratio near stoch limits.

There is another new owner on Facebook does some repeated revs. I may be wrong but has every truck delivered had the red accents

Where did you see this?

Probably that one Facebook group it's easy to get banned from lol

"RAM 1500 RHO Owners" or something like that
Lmao they wouldn’t even accept my request to join. Tried 3 times because it made no sense then they banned me where I couldn’t even see it anymore

This forum gets everything about a day before that FB group and forums are just a better format.
