MPG estimates

That is interesting. Here's a screenshot of the Tungsten marketing page which states 22" aluminum wheels.
Different starting price too, LOL. Guess they haven't ironed everything out as yet

They adjusted the price to account for the inflation from the time they started marketing to the time it was actually listed on their website lol.

When you go to build the tungsten, it lists the 22" as standard.

Off road 35 inch tires will be the biggest loss of fuel economy as compared to the Tungsten. I will be incredibly shocked if it is more than 18-19 highway. I expect 18.

Coming from a gen 1 raptor on 37s, Fox 3.0, and Baja bumpers at 11pm, I’ll take 18 all day

Well considering TFL only got 17 mpg with a 2025 Rebel with the standard output, the RHO probably gonna be 15mpg highway.

I know nobody is buying these vehicles for the fuel economy, but I’m sure many of us are current and/or previous TRX owners and an improvement in MPG is likely a selling point for you (it is for me at least)

Have there been any estimates published online anywhere?
My current 5.7L etorque averages between 15-16 in mixed driving. I will be super happy if the new RHO averages 15 mixed. The fuel economy WAS a factor along with the affordability as to why I pulled the trigger. Used Mark Dodge.

Just saw that this morning. Was disappointed to see that. I was hoping the SO would do better than the V8s.

Yeah I'm not sure what I wanna do now, since the fuel saving won't really be there, might go back to a TRX since I was getting 14mpg highway.

A couple of things on the test they did,
1. They did not let us know how many miles were on the engine, it may still in the break in period.
2. This test was done in Denver which is almost a mile about sea level and that will hit fuel economy. It doesn't matter for the comparison between the other two trucks, but does for total fuel economy
3. For comparison between the other two, both the GMC and Ford ran bed covers versus the open bed of the Ram.

That is my thoughts almost exactly.

EPA has new data up specifically for RHO now and it's not amazing. I suppose a super fuel economic off-road beast was a bit much to hope for, LOL.
14 City, 16 Highway for combined 15

Ouch yeah I hadn't seen the EPA estimates yet. The good news is that it mostly matches up with my current truck so I won't feel any worse when fueling it up.

Damn. Kinda sux comin from trx thnkn gona have gaiiiins of mpg...

My Raptor with 35’s was consistently good for 500 miles out of the 36 gallon tank which is just shy of 14mpg combined. I would expect the RHO to be similar.

Real word TRD Pro Tundra with 35" is similar as well, and it has a hybrid battery to boot

My BTS leveled with 34s gets about 15/15.5 combined winter and about 16-17 summer. I was expecting similar for rho so not disappointed seeing those numbers.

That's interesting, a Google search reports something different. 15city/21hwy/17combined

I think that's what they reported for limited and other h.o. versions with street tires no off-road group and most likely someone added it to rho. I'd be very surprised if rho even gets close to those numbers.

Yeah the epa has mpg numbers rated just for the rho. This is straight from their website compared to the normal ho model.

Looks like you lose 1 mpg in town and 5 on the highway with those tires and the less aero dynamic body. 2 mpg in the city and 3 on the highway just for having the HO engine.
