Put a second order in for a RHO..

after waiting for my May 8th order to have any kind of movement for 6 months, I placed a second identical order a couples days ago just with forged blue instead of white now.. sounds like April and May are forgotten and I’m going to take my chances with a second fresh order. Got a second VIN and now both trucks are in the same D status.

Interesting experiment. I like it. If they pick up your 2nd order, it would suggest we should cancel our early orders and start again. At this rate, it feels like we will never see these trucks.

First order was may 8th. Got vin and D status. Second order placed I believe November 1st last Friday and I have my Vin and this one is also now in D status.

Did the same thing. 1st 4/30. 2nd 10/14. Nothing yet

Not a bad strategy I suppose if you're on month 8 or 9, because technically then you are entitled to a refund if vehicle is not delivered by month 9 according to the contract. Otherwise, you're out the deposit, of which you may not even care about at this point. You're on month 6, and I would assume the truck will be delivered within that timeframe, but who really knows, ya know? I mean...they have to build our trucks regardless of order date, so it is what it is.

Seems to me that Ram is mostly building the early orders right now. The lowest RHO VIN I’ve seen is in the 573 group (which dates back to April). Almost half of the RHO’s that have been released by the plant are in that group.
