Text Message from my dealer Nov 4th

“On a side note, there is one RHO on the ground in the whole country. 2693 orders in the system and about 330 have been built or are being built. Which means there are about 2300 RHO that still need built. That is the update on RHO that we got on our launch call this morning. They are building about 30 a day right now”

This was as of 2 weeks ago now but I heard its up to 50 a day now

That would mean all currently placed orders should be done being built end of January. Then inspections, shipping...

It'll take longer than that. And that's not even factoring in all of the NEW orders that are placed between now and then... and them getting scheduled and into production before my May 1st order.

They won't, but they should just build you a L1 for the same price at that point. I'd vote for that on a ballot for you guys.

Dang, it really did go to production and they said screw your earlier order. Im pretty sure I want to put in that 2nd order now.

I april 27th and still nothing. So at this point i am going to try your route. I just think some of these april orders are stuck unless MD specifically calls out each von to ram. Thanks for the update gives me faith in the second order i place this week!

I'm glad your second order is moving along but even though I'm stuck in limbo with my Level 0 order from 5/18 I don't want to have to add ~$10K to the price for a Level 1 order. That's the big question I guess, keep waiting or succumb to the madness!

That’s nuts. Some folks should be angry. Those early L1 orders that are just sitting….its not right. But, life isn’t always fair.

I’m an early order AND L0…I think I’m screwed.

Happy for you @htxrho! And this obviously brings even more frustrations to a boil with all of us that have early orders and are waiting to get into production. Dealers saying it won't make a difference and here we keep seeing that it indeed CAN make a difference! MFers...

My rep didn't blink an eye when I asked to do a second order.... he actually agreed with my that the Oct order would be made first.

Early order level 0 is brutal. I ordered in August but know this isn’t looking good. At what point do I have to bail as they are providing zero information on what’s going on.

It's bad enough for the early L1 guys but I'd have bailed or reordered L1 by now if I was a L0. The thing is basically vaporware. You can't even find a photo of it.

Yeah that’s the thing. We don’t even know what the L0 looks like because they haven’t built a single one. They market a competitive base price and never build one. I have a hard time believing it has anything to do with supply chain.

I honestly believe there is no automated process internal deciding which orders get put into production. I honestly believe the ones higher on the list get noticed and pushed. I work in a large manufacturing facility and we do the same (manual push) using promised date as a guide taking into account what the shop has setup at the time, material in house, hours available that week, etc. Issue is Ram/Factory does not have a promise date. It appears they pull orders depending on what colors are being run that week, what supplies they have in stock, and what they have visibility of (i.e. closer to top of their list). Just a guess but certainly make sense as orders from Sept & Oct should not proceed July orders. Feel bad for you guys. I'd be furious.
