RHO Orders @ Mark Dodge! $9K-$11K off MSRP

I’m pretty close to deciding on a RHO and Mark Dodge and Anthony.


Currently have a TRD pro 2021 with 100k miles I’ll want to trade in. Been waiting for more ride reviews, and hands-on reviews as I’m nearing my time with the Toyota. Thought I’d replace with another Toyota , but it has me worried right now with the reliability. Really and truly all of the trucks scare me today with their reliability. I’ve had a Dodge in the past and it was great for the most part, but had the driveshaft drop out on me and eventually a recall. So who knows. I think it’s a hope and pray kind of situation with today’s vehicles.

The current state of affairs with Stalantis doesn’t really make me feel better about a big purchase though

Bottom line, Toyota quality ain’t what it used to be. Plus, they admitted the latest gen Tundra was never gonna compete with The Big Three full-size truck products, so they only aimed for “better than the last gen Tundra” to keep current Toyota owners interested.

That’s pretty lazy, IMHO.

If you’re interested, I can post a Toyota enthusiasts review of the latest Tacoma. It’s painfully obvious, Toyota has no clue in this market. Example: Rather than lengthening the control arms of the latest TRD (turd) Pro to compete with the additional 1” of front suspension travel of the Chevy Colorado ZR2, they added Isometric Seats with 1” of “suspension” travel. Really? Weak.

I’m not a Toyota hater. One of my “Top 3” vehicles of all time (and I’ve owned a bunch) was a ‘98 Tacoma regular cab, 5 speed, 4x4 with auto locking hubs. Yes, the State of NY made Toyota “buy back” all the NY registered Tacos of that year due to rusting frames. But, that sucker drove great! It was an animal on any terrain.

Order it. That’s what warranties are for. You’re virtually guaranteed to get it before my April 25th Mark Dodge order that Ram apparently has forgotten about. Week old orders getting scheduled.

Look my 2021 has been flawless. That gen tundra I do believe is the best built most reliable vehicle on the planet. That said it shows its age hence the reason why it’s so reliable. But I’m no fool on the new stuff. My problem is I drive about 40,000 miles a year for my job so I wrap up the miles quickly and don’t want to be in the shop all the time. But again feels like every new truck is a guessing game in today’s market.

Order it. That’s what warranties are for. You’re virtually guaranteed to get it before my April 25th Mark Dodge order that Ram apparently has forgotten about. Week old orders getting scheduled.

Yeah we haven't heard from @AnthonyRI on these early orders yet i know he said they tried bringing it to rams attention. I am april 27th myself. Hopefully we either get an explanation soon or they do re-ordering of our trucks.

I am May 24. Ram does seem curiously uninterested in those of us so when out of our way to order early. It's very strange and not how I would run my business. It would be interesting to see if a new order with the same specs moves to D1 faster.

I'm not sure why the dropped the ball on Tundra and Tacoma.. I have to agree with you, it's been 4 years since the Tundra came out, still some quality issues. I would loved to get a Tundra, but not interested anymore.
The rest of toyota line up is still solid.

Yes, I ordered a base billet silver and there have been base billet silver RHO’s ordered recently that went to D1. I got my VIN on May 3rd. Infuriating…

Their Regional Rep may tell them something like “Ram is doing their best to prioritizing all April, May, June, and July Orders” but at this point, unless all 400 of us get scheduled in the next month, we are getting our trucks in 2025. UNLESS we all create YOUTUBE channels and cry and complain how we need the truck by the end of the year. Hat’s off to the guy who saw that coming months ago.

i can deal with an early 2025 delivery...what i can't deal with is the unknown if Ram can even see my order to be pulled. It just needs to make some sort of movement and it will alleviate 99% of my issues with placing this order.
