@AnthonyRI any waffles for breakfast?
We sent a memo to some higher-ups for some clarification on Thursday night, to get some better understanding on what is going on and what to expect. Clearly the estimated ship dates are gone bonkers. The order of which RHO's are getting into D1 status was at first expected albeit annoying, but now is to the point where it actually seems like something is just plain calculating wrong. This becomes an issue because there are parts that we physically and financially have to prepare for, and having visibility into what is going on is important. So we have some questions to ask and hopefully some answers but it's going to be a little while before this starts to make sense again.@AnthonyRI any waffles for breakfast?
Thank you, @AnthonyRI. Thank you for realizing there is actually a problem and not just desperate and angry customers. Anyone else I'm sure will take our money and not just think we are insignificant.We sent a memo to some higher-ups for some clarification on Thursday night, to get some better understanding on what is going on and what to expect. You are absolutely right.Thanks Anthony!
I’ve suspected something was up for a while. If you recall, the Ram order system was acting wonky at the end of April through early May. I’m thinking our orders ended up in some inactive queue.
I was going to re-order, but since you have “raised a red flag”, maybe our early orders will get some unexpected priority. Fingers crossed!
@AnthonyRI Say that they do discover the Ordering system was just flat out of whack. Would they pull any of the current D1's and be like "lol jk" or are these set in stone?We sent a memo to some higher-ups for some clarification on Thursday night, to get some better understanding on what is going on and what to expect. Facts!!Thank you, @AnthonyRI. I appreciate all the work you put into keeping us updated on the RHO's build progress.
Oh they definitely COULD - I had Tungstens go in and out of D1 a few times this year.@AnthonyRI Say that they do discover the Ordering system was just flat out of whack. Would they pull any of the current D1's and be like "lol jk" or are these set in stone?
I agree with ordering status updates to dealerships.I have talk to many in the Alantic and southeast region and have never seen such a mess of things.Also I can not recall for the life of me a hold on Granite and Forge Blue even through the website allows for a build then referred to a dealership in your zip code build just to be called amd said sorry those 2 very popular colors are on hold since May I believe.Stellantis Chairmen according to the dealer council needs to resign and replace with someone who knows what he is doing Sergio if he were alive would have gone to the board and have a meeting for a vote of confidence.I mean dropping the TRX,Challenger and putting electric motors were there clearly is no grid to support is plain stupid.Like one dealer stated on a investor conference call said if I sold 98,000 Chargers V8 and Challengers and had a profit of say 1.0 million and then was fine by the EPA 400,00 dallors that still is a nice profit and keep my market share of car verus Ford and GM..And losing truck market share was FCA bread and butter profit.I feel for dealers and sales staff what a horrible situation to be in with rates these high.Chrysler Finnace does even compete with GM and Ford on rates right now.We sent a memo to some higher-ups for some clarification on Thursday night, to get some better understanding on what is going on and what to expect. That would be cool riding in the side car of a vespa let me get the goggles readyFinally our first glimpse of RHO's in production in our ordering software! Oddly, not black?
Please allow me to repeat
- At this point we have been instructed to IGNORE the "estimated ship dates" that are showing on all D1 trucks
- We have communicated our position/situation with the folks up in the food chain at RAM, we are working on it with everything we can - MARK DODGE would certainly like to get these 417 RHO's in your driveways, that is after all the business plan, to sell the trucks!
- When these finish production they will likely join the others and sit in containment until extra precautions and verifications have taken place on a certain (unknown) quantity of trucks - that's usually the case for new model year or new model, it does NOT mean there is something wrong with THAT specific vehicle.
- If you complain to me about how you heard that someone said that someone elses truck got built before yours but it's pretty much like the same build and you were promised to get yours in September, don't be surprised if a picture of you riding in the sidecar of a vespa gets sent to all your work buddies.

Side note: is anyone real good at photoshop and has a vespa with a side car? Asking for a friend.
I've said a few times, ignore the dates.Funny that those ship dates are 10/9, right before the embargo lifts?
We have communicated our position/situation with the folks up in the food chain at RAM, we are working on it with everything we canI am hoping they start pumping trucks out soon. A May 8 order should be built before Oct. order, honestly. That's why guys are getting frustrated.
Thank you @AnthonyRI for everything you're doing for us. You're a stand-up man at a trusting dealership. That's a minority in the car business these days.We have communicated our position/situation with the folks up in the food chain at RAM, we are working on it with everything we can
I got you. Thank you, Anthony, for all you do and your incredible transparent communications and search for answers.Finally our first glimpse of RHO's in production in our ordering software! Oddly, not black?
