What's new

RHO Orders @ Mark Dodge! $9K-$11K off MSRP

I'm in the opposite boat. My Raptor has 96K on it, the value drops SIGNIFICANTLY at 100K, and I rack up about 45K/yr traveling from MD-PA-WV-VA weekly. Hell I'll fly to Detroit and pick it up at this point, it's built and just sitting there waiting on more production to ship all the way to Louisiana, where I'll have to pay to have it shipped anyway.
Wow..you should get the iron man risk taker award!! Not sure i would have the balxx to put 45+ K miles on a new dual turbo inline 6!! Will be interesting to see your review of the truck after a year.

@AnthonyRI do you have something like this for the orders from your dealership? Trying to see if there is any estimated shipping dates for the ones in d1. Thanks for your help.

My base truck was in Production this month. My original VON was terminated and was issued a new VON that starts with CN. I emailed Anthony and asked to put in the request to upgrade me to Level 1. He told me yesterday it was approved. I’m just gonna pay the extra $$ and hopefully the truck gets here sooner. It really sucked watching my truck go through all the steps on the tracker and then back to zero.
My base order is also “in production” this month. Still shows in production with estimated ship date 12/30. Hopefully it stays that way or I may be tempted to do the same upgrade.

We have been instructed that the shipping dates populating are irrelevant on the RHOs.
Additionally, they have been "gated" multiple times, meaning there are large batches going in and out of D1 back and forth repeatedly.
So with that in mind, I stopped posting those charts and instead will share periodically when we have larger swings of actual news/results.
If you have a specific question about your specific order status, send your salesperson an email including VON and we can see what detail there is

Your order is in the same boat as @ZGentry if your last name rhymes with Moon.
Email me if you want to request adding L1 to new VON

in my experience when ship date is on these forms it means when the truck ships off the assembly line

The entire list is not necessarily in order, depending on your build you may skip a step or move up or down the list as required.

Unscheduled:
BA – order entered in system by dealer
BB – fleet order only – review by bid department
BD – special equipment processing
BE – edit error – coding error which must be corrected before order can be scheduled
BG – order has passed edit but cannot be scheduled regardless of sold status
BX – good order available for scheduling

Scheduled:
C – Tentative schedule. Your order is "subfirm". The plant can see the order at this point but it's not fully committed to building as the supplier may or may not be able to get parts to the plant to build the vehicle.
D – Firm schedule: serial number assigned. Firm order. (This is when you get your VIN assigned)
D1 – Gate line: unit sequenced for production (Get an estimated build date)

Build:
E – Framing. Metal is welded together to form the body and frame. The body is inspected at the end of this step to ensure it's within tolerances.
F – Paint. The metal is coated, primed, sprayed, clear coated, polished, inspected, and hand finished if necessary.
G – Trim. The engine is installed in the chassis, the interior is installed, the chassis is mated to the body, the bed is put on. At the end of this, your new vehicle is built.

Built:
I – unit built, pending final inspection. Your vehicle goes through a battery of shakedown tests and measurements are taken to ensure the vehicle looks and performs as expected.
J – Vehicle passed final inspection but not released to carrier
** BUILD SHEET BECOMES AVAILABLE**
JB – shipped to body vendor. The vehicle is sent off site to have a spray liner put in, steps, graphics etc.
JE – shipped to emissions
JJ – consigned to body vendor
JS – shipped to storage
KZ – released by plant and invoiced. The truck is ready to be shipped. The dealer is actually charged for the truck at this point and can be a source of delay. Typically two statuses here: "Awaiting Shipment" or "Staged for Shipment"

**WINDOW STICKER BECOMES AVAILABLE**

Transit Codes:
KZL – released but not shipped
KZM – first rail departure
KZN – first rail arrival
KZO – delayed/received
KZOA – plant hold, quality audit
KZOB – zone, dealer, sales, vehicle prep, tax, diversion or derailment hold, dealer refusal, vehicle diverted
KZOC – carrier delay, strike-bound, emission or safety hold, rail car shortage, bad or insufficient load, inclement weather, need shipping order, manifest error
KZOD – mechanical failure, glass damage, vehicle in repair, lacking parts or storage hold
KZOE – misdropped or misshipped vehicle
KZOF – shipped air freight, stolen vehicle recovered, show vehicle, test info code, vessel sailed
KZOG – damaged vehicle, stolen vehicle, abandon to carrier, vehicle scrapped, donate vehicle, repair and auction
KZOH – all other “O” type carrier codes
KZP – Truck is sent offsite to a vendor location for shipping
KZR – First Move To Rail Station
KZS – Waiting on rail car
KZT – Second rail departure
KZU – Second rail arrival
KZY1 – major damage – must not be sold as new
KZY2 – major damage – vehicle sold at auction

KZX - Delivered to your dealer!

ZA – Order Canceled (either by you or your dealer)

You may reach out to your salesman to check. My original VON is still showing on the tracker. That was my estimated ship date too. Hopefully yours is still active.

I’m definitely sick about ordering so early and getting hosed but we’ll see what happens I guess because:

I WANT THIS TRUCK BAD!

Big s/o to @AnthonyRI and MD for being real and not gassing us up.

Hang in there if you can folks. This forum is going to be fun as hell when we all get this thing!

That figures. I requested 1-1/2 weeks ago to have the Bed Utility Group added to my RHO Base/Level 0 order from Mark Dodge and so far - crickets. 🤷‍♂️ Glad your change got approved though. 👍

From my understanding, it's not a brand new engine, used in the Grand Wagoneer right...? Also, I put 45K a year on a dual turbo V6 2020 Raptor, with zero issues except one bad coil pack.

Nothing significant yet for positive change in info. We have had multiple emails at more recent intervals. I am not going to post here every time I send an email or talk about it with anyone... just to clear up that expectation lol - I'll share good news, bad news, but not there hasn't been a large sum in either direction lately.

As far as when do we refund/re-order:
- Our deposit policy is to refund if the vehicle shows up not to spec, over $1K in transport damage to us, or over 9 months. We are at six months. If/When we get to a threshold where it looks physically impossible for that range to be achieved, we will have individual conversations with those individual customers. We're not going to change and publish a different policy, conflicting with what thousands of people have agreed to. At this point, however, that's not the case.
- A new order is a new deposit. That's a 1:1 ratio that is necessary for a number of reasons given the work, costs, and risks related to this program and business model.

When you're already frustrated, it is very easy to find reasons to be more frustrated. We have a lot at stake here as a dealership as well on this particular issue - AND we have to deal with Stellantis on other issues that are equally as "fun". Right now, no one has their RHO. Heck, the youtube guy is back in D status again.
I appreciate the response. And I am not frustrated, I am just concerned my order hasn't been seen or is sitting in some sort of queue. That's all. One other guy said he knows someone who works at the factory and they're building a lot more trucks than people think. Plus with the press drive this weekend, I am sure they will get pumping.

have you heard any updates on 2K onboard power availability?
No. I have zero expectations to see that 2K inverter on a 2025 model year Ram.
