RHO security / Theft prevention!

Quoted IGLA install $1300 parts, labor, taxes sound right?
It does. I will be in vegas march 30-4th. My price is around the same, $1,200 cash/cashiers check. (minimum allowed price). Probably quoted from Marco at Alien, great guy.

Who has gotten theirs done in LA or OC?

I'm getting mine installed in LA. Still a work in progress!

My installers have been putting in serious effort to come up with a better solution than what’s currently available. I appreciate that they didn't just rush to install what is currently available to everyone right now. One of the big limitations with IGLA has been the button options for the pin code, but after two days of scanning my RHO, they’ve just developed a new firmware to hopefully address those limitations!

I got the call yesterday that it’s ready, and I’m scheduled to have it installed next Tuesday. Fingers crossed it all works out!

So what happens when something malfunctions and your truck is “bricked”. Will they send someone out to allow it to start?

Perfect because that will be my first stop

Nice! Let me know what you go with if you do… I might go back at some point for a dash cam or shock sensor

Htxdashcam is the guy for that. He’s solid and pricing is decent. I went with the BlackVue LTE970

IGLA either works or it doesn’t. There is a emergency pin sequence as well. 99.8% of issues is user error from trying to learn a new sequence.

So what I’m saying, what if whatever “keypad” you’re using fails?

Only if you forget your code do you have issues. It’s been pretty solid for me. Backup is key fobs that disengage the system.

Then you do the emergency pin change sequence and make a new pin or place it into transport mode. You also can use one of the included encrypted Bluetooth fobs or your smartphone if paired to the IGLA
