RHO theft already started!!

Ok on a serious note,

Does anyone have any updates on IGLA being fully compatible(tried and tested) on the RHO? I've seen one or two social media posts from shops claiming they successfully installed it. I'm getting my truck soon, and being from Los Angeles, auto thefts are rampant. I'm already booked for front ppf and ceramic tint, but I feel I should get the security in place first!

If anyone has any updates, or has already invested in something similar, please do share!
We are located in Northern California and have successfully added the IGLA to a 2025 Ram RHO. Our info and social media is below

IGLA corporate is saying February 2025.

Stellantis February which will be December 25?
I don't know.

Someone else here called IGLA, and was told February.

I added it to my calendar because car theft in SoCal is almost as prevalent as over-priced coffee bars...

So I’m guessing Ram didn’t improve the architecture to reduce thefts?

Chris

I’m surprised nobody has brought up the Ram app. It literally tracks your vehicle and you can remotely lock the doors.

Funny story, I sold a 21 Ford F-150 a few years ago. Two years later I realized the truck was still on my Ford app. I logged in and could see where the truck was sitting, the last time it was turned on, how much gas was in it, etc… I could also lock or unlock the doors or start it up. I thought about messing with the new owner and then decided to take the high road.

correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t IGLA deter the vehicle from being stolen so you don’t need to track the truck via app?

I'm just saying the App is also something to consider. Not replacing other systems.

this is true if you keep the app after the trial and then PAY for it.

The IGLA man @Air’d outSRT says its compatible now. I'd take his info as gospel for all things IGLA
Yes it is compatible but depending on the installer (if they offer the new method of anti carjacking/forced shutdown) just like a trx you will get false check engine lights that fall off after correct starts and the buttons are limited to the 4 window switches on the drivers door. Feel free to message me here (not on here enough) or text me directly and I can point people in the right direction.

Thanks

That would make sense, but I offered to remove my panels, seats and point to location for install, so it would be unique 100 to my application and was told they would do that. It feels like if I paid a security company to install CCTV and they hid the recording device and wouldn't tell me where it was.

If the Ampire goes sideways, I'll just move it into another vehicle and adopt the IGLA way of things. I just have a hard time paying someone for a job and them not help me in any real way should I have an issue down the way. Is the security worth being locked out of my own vehicle?
We would never tell where an IGLA is installed and if I found out a dealer told a customer they are immediately removed. Its this way for a reason. You will 100% get any support that is needed and if that dealer doesn’t help then contact me directly.

Sounds like the security needs list is similar to ...
IGLA
Hidden Fuel cut off
Lockbox on fuse box
Headache Rack with full mesh covering window
Removable Gas Pedal
OBD Lock
Claymore under drivers seat tied to door switch
IGLA does most of that already 😉

It is compatible and working but just like a trx the pin needs to be done correctly or you will trigger false check engine lights that fall off after a few correct starts. If you need help with finding an installer please contact me and I will get you to where you need to go.

You don't need the pin if you have the small fob that comes with the ilga correct? Or am I wrong

I’m sure it’s on here somewhere and I probably missed it but this seems like a good place to ask how much it cost

Correct but most of us frown upon it because people tend to put it on the factory fob which if taken makes your vehicle no longer yours. Pin is the most secure or keep the fob separate from the factory key.

The first thing thieves apparently are doing is cutting that wire in headliner and disables all that functionality.

@D&Sadventure the prices I've found are all $1200
