SHIPPING / TRANSPORT

Also another thing you guys should always mention the width of 88 inches. I’ve had 2 different issues when drivers showed up to pick my trx it was too wide! So just a heads up

Did the same also and got hit up by shipwit and broadway. It's tough, when you look up reviews its so mixed. I think it's luck of the draw who they dispatch and the service you get. Is this essentially what MD will do, pick a random broker company?
Yes. When I asked them they said they just put it out at a certain price to see who will jump on it. It's MD 'offering' $X and looking for a company to accept vs. you putting it out for bid and getting the best competitive pricing form multiple carriers.

I went to movemycar.com just to get a few quotes and my phone has been getting bombed with phone calls and text messages lol. Anyone heard of Broadway Auto Transport? I'm getting quoted at $1050 for 1600 miles seems pretty reasonable.
Broadway is one that I've heard of people using out here in AZ, they do some of the trucking for Barrett-Jackson's car auctions. Seems like a decent price, wouldn't be surprised if someone comes in a little lower though.

anyone used shipwhit?

That cost is nothing compared to the price of your wife having a lifetime of "told you so's" racked up from going on a solo adventure to pick up your ride. For example:

-I unpacked the snowboots my wife packed for me. (because I love cold and wet feet?)

-I unpacked the thermal base layers she packed for me also (because if I didn't want the valuable oz's of weight holding me back)

-She reccomended hitting up a walmart in Dallas to load up on water, snacks and such, but I thought it'd be smarter to drive straight to Houston and sort it here. (can't calculate my current bar tabs, waters by the bottle, and worlds tiniest shaving creams).

It's not all bad though, I've spent more time at the bar than I have in 15 years, and I got free toothpaste from hotel. See pic, because, this had to have cost more to make than a full tube.

Cool. It'll all good as long as you're comfortable with what you get for what you're paying. 👍

Can let you know tomorrow. Slated for delivery.

I let MD broker for me and the price came back at $1050 for 1250 miles. I thought that was reasonable considering how painless they made it.

$1800 for 2000 to 2100 miles depending on route they take through Mark Dodge

Got setup with KCCR Solutions through MD. Best experience I have had with transport. Believe his name is Kyle.

Thanks @Silverbullet !!!! I am the owner and operator of the company that honestly strives to give the best experience possible to my customers. I have seen a lot of questions come up about delivering these beautiful machines. I am one of the few that MD would recommend delivering your vehicle and also transport your trade-in back if you have one. Does it cost a little extra knowing that your vehicle is a dedicated load and not added onto a trailer with 3 to 6 other vehicles, yes but that is a personal choice. The broker companies you reach out to are just there to try to turn a profit and make they're ratings go up. The driver that picks up your vehicle from MD that the broker sends doesn't get paid that full amount you paid. Keep this in mind, as to who you would want to transport it. Yes, I take the extra time to stop and look for any issues with the vehicle and help the best I can if the customer over sees something I missed. I am in full contact with the customer all the way to the drop-off location. Derrick at MD does an awesome job with the logistics, he dispatched my vehicle to me when I purchased it.

Feel free to ask the guys at MD to call me. Or find me on Facebook. KCCR Solutions LLC

Hey, can I ask what you guys charge per mile? Mine won't be ready to go at MD for at least another month but trying to get my ducks lined up. It will be coming to Elizabethton, TN (37643).

Best thing to do is talk to Rob at MD and he can set up a run to your location to where it makes sense to have 2 vehicles trailered up there instead of one. (Unless your trading something in or want only your vehicle on the trailer.) My services are a little more expensive because I’m not a random carrier that a broker can get off the street. I am a preferred carrier for them that has done many runs for them. Because of this, my rates are a little higher. You get what you pay for.

Hope this helps.
