SHIPPING / TRANSPORT

Best thing to do is talk to Rob at MD and he can set up a run to your location to where it makes sense to have 2 vehicles trailered up there instead of one. (Unless your trading something in or want only your vehicle on the trailer.) My services are a little more expensive because I’m not a random carrier that a broker can get off the street. I am a preferred carrier for them that has done many runs for them. Because of this, my rates are a little higher. You get what you pay for.

Hope this helps.
Understand, will do.

Just got to MD and I’m not sure if this is a sold unit or not but I am definitely liking that color!

Let them know about the hood misalignment on the passenger side. Possibly the passenger front door, too. This is why I keep going back and forth about having my truck shipped versus flying down to MD and driving it back.
Is there an option for a video review if the truck before the paperwork and payment are processed? I’m in the same boat and would prefer to assess the truck before taking ownership.

I thought the same, but let me walk you down the very real-world scenario that is you getting up early enough to catch your flight (hopefully it's direct), spending the hour to two at the airport, then flight, and now the several hour drive to the dealership to pick up your truck while also thinking about the long drive ahead of you and all that comes with that adventure.

At what level do you feel your brain and eyes are going to be operating at? I had a checklist, planned out all the details and in the end, the only thing I caught was a couple scratches that were easily buffed out. Now add to that the battery issues, inability to fly with a huge lithium jumper, and trying to find a charger locally, then a plug to charge. One rock chip to windshield is a $1800 mistake. One moment of stupidity while being tired could cost you weeks of bodywork. Seriously, I saw some asshat hit a bright blue metal pump protector at a gas station in his brand new RHO.

Even if there are issues, you'll love your truck. If necessary, you'll take it to local dealer to get it sorted. For the cost savings through MD, you can buy a Rupes Mark V, and buff to your hearts content too. You are very much not going to want your truck piled up in the queue at MD, with the amount of volume they have there. In my brutally honest opinion.

My truck is shipping from the east coast to the west coast right now , what surprised me is it's tracking in the ram app . Can everyone see there truck with it off ? Pretty cool

Did anyone end up going with Shipwhit? a few of us were getting really good quotes from them, was curious if anyone had a positive or negative experience! My truck is still being built

I shopped transporters, it’s such a commodity. Kyle is worth the extra couple of bucks. He genuinely cares about his delivery. He caught a couple of things that needed attention on my RHO at MD and had them corrected before loading. I loved the 7AM drop off in a Saturday!!

Thanks Kyle!

Thank you for the business. Now all you have to worry about is all the community pets! Enjoy your new RHO!

My truck arrived at MD and I completed all the financing and my wire transfer will arrive tomorrow morning. I put out the info to shipwit and received a text from them shortly after. Original quote for 1,686 miles was $920. The price increased with the size of the RHO to $1,400. I said no thanks, I’ll wait for other quotes from another site to come in. Well, not a single quote came in. Shipwit agreed to a $100 off to $1,300 total. I took it. Apparently with a lack of drivers, the long hauls like mine, Louisiana to So Cal. could take quite some time to fill the order, especially without upping the price even more to entice drivers, which was code word for the premium on a wider truck.
