What's new

Southern California RAM Dealers are Greedy A$$4@!#$!!!

I'm also from SoCal and had the same experience with local RAM dealers. None bothered to offer a discount under MSRP. Some even tried to upsell me on a TRX 😬

MD for the win 🫡 So worth the discount, even considering paying for the travel/delivery.

I'm torn between getting it shipped all the way to CALI or flying out and driving it back. For you Cali folks that ordered from MD, what are you considering?

Drive it, break it in and enjoy the drive back to Cali.

I'm also considering shipping to Vegas asked for the cost from central dispatch waiting on reply.

edit: $1200-1500 to ship to Vegas

Tuttle Click in Irivine will do 3% below invoice. Idk why anyone would go anywhere else if in CA. The rho will be my third vehicle from them. Always no games and everything through email.

Well to start, a 12% off sure sounds more appealing than a 3%, even accounting for shipping fees...

I also reached out to Tuttle Click and they gave me the runaround. This was back in early May, and I sure don't recall being offered a 3% below invoice. But I do see the advantage of purchasing local and avoiding the extra leg work. Congrats on your RHO purchase 🫡

3% under invoice is about 10% off msrp. So only slightly less discount than the east dealers but you can pick your car up in person

Tuttle-Click is a couple names I haven't heard since I lived in Tucson from 92-06.

Jim Click and Holmes-Tuttle are Tucson, AZ Ford dealers.

I bought a 95 Mustang Cobra from Click, and a 96 Escort LX from Holmes-Tuttle after the Cobra got stolen.

Both dealers were straight shooters.

Would you be able to provide who at Tuttle click you ordered with. Thanks!

I got the quote through Mark Dodge as they use them exclusively apparently it'll stand.

Central Dispatch isn't a shipper, it's a platform to find them.
We have a full time logistics team that sets up the bids, verifies/validates, and helps customers find the best match.
This means right equipment, right insurance, right price, right timing, right satisfaction rating.
We take $0 for this service of setting it up you just pay the carrier when they arrive.
Customers are of course welcome to arrange their own shipping but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have done it quite a few times, with the same company, and recently.

100% - All fiddy state's my friend.
Mr. Anthony -

Do you guy deliver?

Costs? (Your location to Apple Valley, CA.)

Reputation of the delivery folks?

An Air Force buddy had a nightmare delivery of a Mustang GT in '14.
Our Local Air Force Judge Advocate General (Air Force Lawyers) had to get involved. The car got totaled and the dealer had to replace it.

I was stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB, in Tucson for seven years. Love Tucson. I just live in AV now.

yes we book shipping for the customer, in your case likely between $1600-$1800 based on recent transactions.
We only use shippers with the right equipment, insurance, and reputation.

Ordered my RHO last week from Mark Dodge also because So Cal dealers were no help and/or greedy. Ashley with Mark Dodge was very helpful and ordering my truck was so simple. Even with the extra shipping charge, pricing from Mark Dodge was much better that the dealers from So Cal. I was a bit scared at first, but the process was painless and I am very happy with my order, Can't wait for my truck to arrive at my home address.

Agreed, called around to several socal dealers, no one wanted to play ball, so went to mark dodge. Easiest car transaction...
