I'm short, and my wife is even shorter, so sorry my children, you are screwed. I went with the Offroad running boards from Mopar. If you order them with the truck its significantly cheaper than buying them after the fact a la carte. Personally don't like the looks of the running boards but pretty much my wife's only question about ordering / buying the truck "will we be able to step into that thing?" .

If there are some solid flat, true sliders that someone makes like White Knuckle off-road, would gladly get those. I don't see myself crawling with this truck but sure would love some solid frame mounted sliders to "protect" the truck in parking lots and parking structures.

If you don't live where you get a ton of snow, I would consider the Go Rhino E1 power step.

I had the factory running boards on the trx. I loved them. Protected well from rocks and door dings looked good imo

Does anyone know if the Go Rhino E1 power step has one motor or two? When I open the drivers side door does the passenger step come down as well?

Dual motors and no, it is side specific.

I'm 5'2" and my wife is 5' (real shorties!). I looked at a TRX with factory boards and we had difficulty getting in (I have a bad knee too). I tried a used TRX that had Rough County power boards. They looked great and I had no problem getting in. Amp Research has some nice power boards also but they cost way more. I had several issues with my Amp Research boards on my Durango and their customer service and warranty process was horrible, even for the large dealer I bought them from. Unfortunately, they were the only company offering them for our Durango. It appears the Amp Research only has 1 motor as the Rough County and Go Rhino have 2. The best I can tell, the Amp boards drop 13.5 inches, the Rough Country drop 15.5 and the Go Rhino drop 13 inches. They all look really nice. The Rough Country are the least expensive followed by the Go Rhino and then the Amp boards which are much more. I will probably go with the Rough Country because of the lower drop and price. Thats just my 2 cents, I hope it's helpful.

Go Rhino uses magnets and doesn't plug into your odb port. I like that option. For whatever that's worth as well. Lol.

Posted in another thread but some of the power board OEM's dont include the LED board lighting - the wiring harness includes the connected but the LEDs are extra (and would have to match up the connector) - RealTruck has the Ionic boards on sale for $899 right now - but LED's are add-on ... where Go Rhino includes them (at a higher price)

I had the Rough Country HD2's on my Rebel - and they installed easy, looked great - after about 2 years of snow/ice/salt - had to sand/prime/repaint by the front wheel wells.

interesting news there - most of the OEM's list fitment for 19-25 (1500) some show 21-25 (TRX) .... AMP initially showed fitment for RAM (on RealTruck)- but once you select the power board - it states doesnt fit your vehicle. Thanks for confirming.

Yes I took a screen shot to try and get them to take return to no avail… left them on in up position and await updated wiring harness
