What did you do to your RHO Today?

Picked up this harness someone posted on here for my radar, crazy enough the guy that makes these is local to me so we just stopped by and he made us two but it doesn’t fit for my husbands 2500. I was able to mount my radar to the mirror and not have it chilling on my dash with 3m tape 😂. It was sooo easy to install, plug and play, and now I don’t have to worry about unplugging it every time I get out!

I added a Banks iDash pro and a stealth mount to keep an eye on the exhaust temps and see the boost gauge. I didn’t see an exhaust gas temp but I did see 2 temp sensors for the catalytic converters, so I added them. Just took a 10 minute drive and the temps were reading 1400-1500 degrees on the cats.

I didn't do anything this weekend...

Rainy/windy weekend. And one of the torsion springs on our double garage door snapped late Thursday night.
Kinda hard to use the single bay door because the '31 Model A is there. We've been using the front door (I KNOW! How 1970s of you!)

I ordered a new pair, but they won't arrive until Wednesday.

Also waiting on stuff for the truck
Waiting for the FitCamX and the OCPlug Matte screen protector...

I got email alerts that both will be delayed until later this week.
Lets see some photos of that Model A! Badass!

WTF!! Isn't 1400-1500 degrees way to hot under normal driving???? Under heavy load, I thought normal values would be maintained normally around 1200-1500 degrees F if you're pushing the hell out of the motor consistently, not beyond that unless something is wrong. If these stay in that range for long periods of time, no wonder these things are melting. I will be driving the RHO like I stole it, it's a performance truck, so if these things aren't resolved, the truck will stay broken down which in my book is a terrible vehicle investment. I've had fast cars most of my adult life, and my Cadillac V's and M3, I could run the shit out of them all day, track them all the time, and never had an issue. Something isn't right for a 10 minute drive and they get up to 1500 degrees F.

Definitely need to get more readings and drive time. I also have to confirm all the engine settings. I did notice it was set to single turbo, inter cooler and throttle. I just changed it to twin turbo, Intercooler and throttle. I am going to confirm with banks the settings are right for the Hurricane HO. As nope It said my hp was 580 before the change. I am sure it needs to be tweaked

Ok good. Hopefully it reads lower temps lol

Had what to me is the most important mod done today, IGLA installed.
Simple to use, and keeps my truck mine.

Now that that is done, I'll look into the other mods, security was the most important part for me to have done first.

Shout out to Air'd OutSRT for finding me an installer that could come to me (driving hours to get here).

Today I took some time to clean my RHO and check that everything was in order. I also installed a new accessory that I had in mind for a while. Nothing too big, but it's always a pleasure to improve your setup a little. The next step may be a small more technical upgrade. And you, what's new on your RHO?

Have rb20 bedlined running boards, rokblokz flaps, VIOFO dash cam and hardwire kit all sitting in my apartment waiting for truck to get delivered this weekend or early next week if all goes well. Front bumper was dented during transport from ram so bumper has to be ordered/ replaced before it can be shipped to me.

Figured I'd get this party started since we're all getting ours, or will be shortly.

I'll start, ordered a Tonneau cover, and side steps - should be here on Friday.

Deciding on a bed rug now, don't think I want to do a bed liner again.

Put another 100 miles on it. Took my son on a drive. Hit 90 mph in Sport mode. He absolutely loved it. Tried the reclining rear seats. Got my phone to play videos on passenger screen. Find out something new about the truck everyday. 😀👍
