2026 TRX return

it would be nice to get an RHO with the 6.4 V8, but I'll believe all of this when I see it.. it's just an email anyone can put together

Wait... so ALL of Rams offerings would be V8s.... what does that do to the resale value of ANY of the hurricane engine offerings? This move if its true really is starting to look bad for us. Of course this is all speculation but if you can get the RHO in a hemi offering and a TRX with a supercharged hemi, what would be the point of the hurricane engine? Would any of you choose the hurricane over the hemi given the same price on an RHO?

That would indeed destroy the resale value of the RHO, thus I'm thankful that mine is still on order. If the news turn out to be true, I might as well take a $1k loss and pull out.

Kuniskis quote:

“Honestly, the bigger issue is not Hemi vs. T6,” Kuniskis said in an interview with Road & Track. “The bigger issue is we took away a fundamental American thing. Americans love freedom of choice more than anything. When you take away their freedom of choice and tell them ‘you must take this,’ they revolt. Whether it makes sense or not, it doesn’t matter. It’s anti-American, you’ve taken my flag away, f*** you. It doesn’t mean they are making an irrational decision, maybe they are, maybe they aren’t, I don’t know. But we as Americans, that’s what we do.”

Hurricane is not going anywhere. Consumers will have a choice/option.

No - all of the Rams will have a V8 option. Go look at the stats for Ford and the 2.7/3.5. I'm not sure why Ram trucks would be much different - I think the 6s outsell the 5.0 by 2 or 3 to 1. The 3l has slightly better, mileage, smoother, quieter, smoother driving experience, more power, much more torque, much quicker acceleration and better towing. Assuming the same electrical architecture will be on the hemi truck as well - along with the electrical gremlins that go along with it. So, other than the exhaust note, I'm not sure why you feel everyone would go the "other" direction.

When do 2026 order banks open? That would give us an idea of possible announcement timing.

I don't know about y'all but I'm enjoying rho a lot more than the trx I had for about 9 months. I don't know why y'all looking at destroying the value when you buying a car. This is not an investment. Looking at it this way even raptor is better value than trx but I just won't buy Ford..
