I doubt it would work this quick, but my check engine light and all the sensor warnings has disappeared. Going to put it on a tender again tonight, then tomorrow night try without.
Is that from just deleting the mobile app?I doubt it would work this quick, but my check engine light and all the sensor warnings has disappeared. Going to put it on a tender again tonight, then tomorrow night try without.
I parked after going out to lunch, warnigns fpr bli d spot, etc. were still present, as well as the checl engine light. After I parked and went back into the office I deleted the app after seeing comments in this thread. When I left work, I honestly don't ever if the check engine light was Ion or not, but I made a quick stop at the post office on the way home(left truck running) and when I got back in I noticed the check engine light was gone.Is that from just deleting the mobile app?
thanks for sharing, my voltage still seems a little low 12.6 to 13.0 at idle(it was 12.6 after start-up, it was also 24 degrees this morning). I'm going to go get new batteries today and see if that helps and then not put the truck on a tender tonight. My truck was completely dead when it died the other day, I had to jump it with another car and let the other car idle when connected for about 10 minutes before it would turn over.Just figured I’d share…had an appointment yesterday to get my safety systems checked again…was told they’d need the truck for a minimum of 4-days for diagnosis & fix.
Apparently, the tech sends the problem to Ram & they send the cure, likely updated software. Ram is so far behind, it takes 4 days to get an answer.
The dealer said they would call me to drop it off when things slowed down. In the meantime, I’ve deleted the Ram app, disconnected both batteries for 60 mins, currently charging to full float, then I’ll drive with lane keep assist active & set to low vibrate. Fingers crossed.
Thinking back on my whole RHO experience, the safety system faults did not pop immediately. It took about a week. Wondering if low voltage caused the issues.
Do you have the RAM app installed?thanks for sharing, my voltage still seems a little low 12.6 to 13.0 at idle(it was 12.6 after start-up, it was also 24 degrees this morning). I deleted it yesterday, but I think my voltage is still reading low because both batteries completely drained. From past experience, once a battery is completely drained it never works right againDo you have the RAM app installed?
Right, but just installing new batteries wont solve the issue either. Lots of owners swapped out the batteries only to have them dead again within a few days but deleting the app AND having good batteries seemed to solve the issue.I deleted it yesterday, but I think my voltage is still reading low because both batteries completely drained. agreed, just need the new batteries now! Any chance you have the battery specs for the smaller one?Right, but just installing new batteries wont solve the issue either. I dont, but I know somebody, somewhere posted the manual for the RHO on the forum. I'll see if I can locate it and see what it says. Hopefully somebody else knows exactly where it was and can post it quicker than me.agreed, just need the new batteries now! Any chance you have the battery specs for the smaller one?

I haven’t had any issues but the humming is staying on for awhile. What is that?I've had mine about a week. No battery issues yet, but I certainly hear than humming for a few minutes after I turn off the truck. I usually lock via the handle button, not the key fob. I haven't noticed any lights on the dash staying lit, but I'll check tonight. I also notice that when I walk out to the garage with my keys in my pocket, the running lights come on when I get close.
I'll try locking via key fob vs the door handle and see if I notice a difference in anything.
Can you share a picture of what you are seeing on voltage? Maybe a video?thanks for sharing, my voltage still seems a little low 12.6 to 13.0 at idle(it was 12.6 after start-up, it was also 24 degrees this morning). Why are you buying anything? Every inch of your truck is under warranty.Didn't get a video, but basically would idle at 12.8volts, then when letting off the gas it would go up to 14.3 and slowly drop back down to 13 as I applied throttle
Just bought 2 new batteries, the main battery is an H7 agm, the smaller I will look up the receipt, but also an agm.
Truck is now idling at 14.5 volts! Going to keep it off the battery tender tonight and see what happens now that the app is deleted and new batteries.
Called 3 dealers arpund me, earliest i could be seen was 12/30, at which point who knows how long to diagnose and/or order batteries. I don't want to drive around with low voltage or get stuck somewhere. I'm also wondering if driving with low voltage has to do with the people who had melted cats, maybe they weren't getting a complete burn and dumping fuel. Tool me an hour and 400 bucks. To me that's worth the lost time I would have had with the truck and potential damageWhy are you buying anything? Every inch of your truck is under warranty.
Man that's INSANE they can't see you until 12/30, what a crock of shit! Not all dealers are like MD, that's for sure. I cannot even begin your frustration level.Called 3 dealers arpund me, earliest i could be seen was 12/30, at which point who knows how long to diagnose and/or order batteries.
