Did You Hear That? 👀 RHO Exhaust Options are HERE!!

I don't think there's going to be any big gains with a cat back, the stock system seems pretty free flowing and large diameter.
I think downpipes or high flowing cats are going to be where gains are found.

Has anyone heard how it sounds from the cabin? The video can’t be that hard to make.

Extreme vs. Trail Rated – Which MRT Exhaust is Right for Your Ram 1500 RHO?
The stock exhaust on the Ram 1500 RHO is way too quiet for a high-performance off-road truck. If you've ever hopped in, hit the ignition, and been let down by the lack of sound, you're not alone. MRT has two solutions to wake up the Twin-Turbo 3.0L Hurricane I6 and give your RHO the sound and presence it deserves: the Extreme Mid Pipe and the Trail Rated Mid Pipe.

I've put together two videos showcasing the interior exhaust experience, so you can hear how each system changes the driving experience from inside the cab.

Extreme Mid Pipe – Maximum Performance Sound
The Extreme Mid Pipe is all about aggression and attitude. It delivers performance sound at all times, making sure your RHO doesn’t just look the part but sounds like the beast it is. At full throttle, it roars to life with a raw, race-inspired tone, while at cruising speeds, it dials back just enough to remain enjoyable without being overbearing. If you want a commanding exhaust presence both inside and outside the truck, this is the system for you.

Trail Rated Mid Pipe – Refined Power with On-Demand Sound
The Trail Rated Mid Pipe shares a similar deep, muscular exhaust note but is designed for those who want a more controlled and refined experience. It provides on-demand performance sound when you step on the throttle, but during highway cruising, it settles into a smooth exhaust whirr behind you, making for a comfortable and drone-free ride. It’s the best of both worlds—aggressive when you want it, and composed when you need it.

These videos give you a real-world look at how each system sounds from the driver’s seat, so you can decide which one fits your style best. No matter which you choose, both systems wake up the RHO the way it should have sounded from the factory.

Pricing is coming out today and should be able to order tmrw still?

Are you guys going to post if you have seen any HP gains with either setup? Stock dyno vs your Trail exhaust and also extreme exhaust?

We don’t conduct dyno testing for horsepower gains, but removing the bulky stock mid-muffler reduces back pressure, allowing the engine and turbos to breathe more freely. Modern vehicles typically don’t see significant horsepower increases from bolt-ons alone until a tune is applied. A tune helps recalibrate the truck’s computer to fully optimize the benefits of performance upgrades. Without tuning, you may notice a slight improvement, but the real gains come when the ECU adjusts to the new airflow dynamics.

I believe you said this should be DIY install friendly? will you have install guides posted in the near future?

Yes, it is DIY-friendly! Installation guides will be available on the product pages in the next few days. Keep an eye out!

similar question, exhaust work of this kind is simple, not concerned about that. My questions is can you go back to stock easily? Is this all bolt up or does this install require cutting the stock exhaust?

The stock system uses clamps at the muffler inlets but lacks them before the over-axle tubing. Our design retains the clamp point at the inlets, while the over-axle tubes require cutting. We've carefully chosen the cut points to ensure you can revert to the stock system if needed.

Any discount code for RHO forum members?

@MRT Performance Liking the extreme sound. So you have no plans to do a full catback? You think that it is a waste and only needs the mid pipe? I do love the looks of the stock exhaust tips. To me they look like aftermarket with how big they are, so I would want to keep the stock tips. I like the idea of only having to spend $500 instead of $2k for an exhaust.

yes what he said. Also I'm sorry if I'm a bit confused but are the first videos posted in this thread just the midpipe? or the full exhaust prototype? (if there is one). Just wondering if i need to order just the midpipe to get that sound or if you will be coming out with a full exhaust down the road that will be that sound.

Thanks!

We're open to the idea of a Cat Back system, but the stock RHO exhaust is already well-designed, with the only real restriction being the midship OEM muffler. Rather than replacing tubing without any real benefit, we focused on addressing the main issue—allowing us to offer a high-performance solution at a much more reasonable price. We've taken this approach with other vehicles like the TRX and Bronco Raptor because we believe in providing upgrades that make a real difference, without forcing customers to replace parts that don’t need changing.

DIY install correct? No welding needed? You have install guide yet with what tools you need? When they will be ready to ship if I order today?

No problem at all, happy to clarify! The videos posted in this thread showcase the sound of the midpipe only, specifically the MRT Extreme and Trail Rated Mid Pipes. You would only need to order the midpipe to achieve the sound you're hearing in the videos.
