I’ve had a window sticker for weeks and it’s just sitting.Makes sense. Mines been in inspection for 30 days now. Was supposed to ship 2/20. Move back to 3/20 then shipped to storage. But, no window sticker, so they are likely having to hold these for something.
Is the delay in building or shipping the truck? I ask because I have the bedliner, but no decals, and my tracker says it's been built. Ship date is still TBD. Just wondering if I could experience a delay in shipping due to the bedliner.I spoke with my dealer this morning and he was on a call with some higher ups at the factory. He is saying decals are causing delays right now and they are even considering sending the graphics with the truck for dealers to install just to get them out of there. That and bedliners arnt helping…. On average trucks sit in “I” inspection for 4-6 weeks
To be fair, they probably send them with a template of some sort...to line up correctly on the body. When I got the new Colorado ZR2, the factory sent the blackout badge and decal package with the truck for the dealership to install. Everything was perfectly straight. If this is true when I get mine soon I'm going to really check my overpriced decals to make sure they are straight lol. If the dealer is doing it I'm sure it will be okay but one more thing to double check before driving it away
Yeah same here. No decals but bedliner. My tracker doesn’t show built but dealer said it’s been built and in inspections for 4 weeks now.Is the delay in building or shipping the truck? Mine has been in the same spot in the parking lot for a week now. This is from the 12th around 9PM. Is it just waiting to get on a rail car?
uh oh, here I am thinking that mines is getting to me soon.Mine has been in the same spot in the parking lot for a week now.
was it put on a rail car and just dropped off there?Stuck at the parking lot of doom. View attachment 8501
No, it was taken there on a truck from the factory. It will have to go back to the factory and then be put on the train. Shipping must be backed up since my truck is built but not shipped .was it put on a rail car and just dropped off there?
That is so annoying. Mine is currently built just sitting by the rail car. Have no idea why they can’t just put it on a truck to Illinois. No, it was taken there on a truck from the factory. Same build. Same production week. Same time in inspection.Yeah same here. No decals but bedliner. My tracker doesn’t show built but dealer said it’s been built and in inspections for 4 weeks now.
Mine is sitting an hour away from me. Just let me go pick it up and take it to the dealer myselfThat is so annoying. Mine is currently built just sitting by the rail car. Have no idea why they can’t just put it on a truck to Illinois.
Yeah - odd. The pundits say no one is buying Ram trucks - but if shipping is a mess, I'm not sure what is going on. Mine is either in a "mixing yard" of under "long delay" status depending on who you ask. My dealer said it usually had something to do with a driver strike or some issue with a shipping company. Oh well. Is what it is.No, it was taken there on a truck from the factory. It will have to go back to the factory and then be put on the train. Ditto, smhMine has been in the same spot in the parking lot for a week now.
