Thanks for the update.Update!! The other Cat arrived today. Spoke with the service and parts director said they would get them installed today and tomorrow they will run thru some tests, perform a PCM update that apparently just came out, and test drive. I am working on seeing if I can get some more information on this PCM update, to see exactly what it’s for. As long as everything goes as plan, sounds like we should be able to pick it up Saturday.

I hope not! Seems it would be in RAM's best interest to update the PCM on all the trucks to avoid major recalls down the road. Fingers crossed for you!Alright guys, today is the day I pick her back up! I will let you guys know how it goes. I will say this though. Service director promised to keep me posted and reach out to me Thursday and Friday heard nothing apparently he was off those days, so trying to get ahold of anyone in that dealership in service was damn near impossible (my service advisors been on vacation for the last two-three weeks). I finally had sales department put me on hold and transfer me once they made contact with someone. Was told they were finishing up repair. (Service director said they would have cats in Wednesday afternoon into Thursday morning, and do test drives. Based off my app they did the cats yesterday and the trucks movement. We were told she’s ready for pick up and they’ve drove her a total of 6 miles since receiving. 41 days, melted cats, multiple cylinder misfires and your test drive was less then 6 test miles to make sure she’s ready…. I guess we will find out if it’s really fixed. Shop foreman at my old store said he could not find anything on a pcm flash either, he just saw notes on making sure the airbox was installed correctly. So hoping when I get truck they will tell me what that was for or if they were just talking out their asses. Fingers crossed!!
Don’t rely 100% on the app for every vehicle movement. It misses some trips (IDK why). I was ready to blast my service advisor as it looked like my truck hadn’t been moved in 2 days, yet he told me a tech had diagnosed my truck & completed a re-flash. Based on mileage, the truck HAD been driven 2 miles, so the app had missed a trip.Alright guys, today is the day I pick her back up! I will let you guys know how it goes. I will say this though. Couldn’t find anything on any pcm updates. When I pick up today I will see what the update was for.
