When i got my trx koons replaced 2 of them before i purchased. seemed like most trx trucks came in with scratched or damaged flares. Was curious if it is still an issue which seems like it is.

Doesn’t look like it was caused during transport to me, assuming factory or shipped to MD that way? Only other thing I can think of is if MD inadvertently scratched them when removing the protective film as part of PDI. Thought they would notice the scratches though?

I think you'd have to be removing them with the claw end of a hammer to do that.

I'll feed you baby bird (knowledge bombs inbound):

Having spent several days stuck in Houston (Pearland was a winter wonderland), after the most amount of flight cancellations to LA, visiting MD in person, and seeing the mayhem first hand, I can honestly tell ya, they are gonna be scrambling to get caught back up. When I left there, they hadn't had running water in days (waterless carwashes are the worst), Some parts had power outages, and the 2 bridges into and out of Lake Charles had been iced over and unusable. When I left, they were just finally able to load and unload vehicles again, so it'll be a catchup.

The MD team was hustling like stock brokers trying to get out of a precarious position and it was something to behold. They had vehicles in every nook and cranny and needed em gone asap. I'd guestimate it'll take a week to get back in the groove, assuming they get their water back.

In regards to financing pre-approval, most lenders I've seen have numbers that are good for 30 days. If you go that route just read the print so you don't get a double credit ding for no reason. All the best

I had that on mine too, I went to walmart on way home and got some adhesive remover and shop towel and the "scratches" disappeared. To my eye, they VERY much looked like scratches (not a big deal to me) but someone at dealer mentioned factory adhesive that holds the panel protector sheet on being difficult to remove so I figured I'd give it a shot.

Not sure if yours are the same, but worth a shot?

Thank you for the kind words and so glad you're loving the truck! We do not have (legally) the ability to do any referal bonus or things like that, I wish we could! But we sure do appreciate referrals it's what keeps this thing going !!

We found a Werthers wrapper in ours.....I think they definitely played with it at some point before it got to the dealer. Kinda pisses me off still. The miles, the 7 hours of idle time, the damage found on the truck....sigh. Im done complaining for now
