Just purchased truck few hours ago and it died while driving on highway

1/3 of the 746 members is 249.

do you know how many RHO's in total have been made?

if i was a betting person I would say it only amounts to 1 percent of the RHO's that are having issues.

the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant builds around 40 trucks an hour or around 6900 trucks in a five day week for all models.

so if only 249 people have an issue management would feel pretty good in my opinion.
I guess we just just have different expectations. I also think that the 1/3 number would stay consistent between members and non-members; I dont think only members are having / will have problems) . In the beginning of Nov Ram had taken less than 2500 orders. Zero chance Ram has built over 2000 RHO ytd. My guess is it's closer to 1000. They certainly have not built anywhere near 6500.They will probably build half that number for the whole year.

Yes they need to actively monitor this forum. I believe that 80-90% of the individuals who ordered RHO are active participants here. Engaging with the forum would provide them with a direct channel to address consumer-reported issues proactively, potentially avoiding the need for regulatory recalls, which could further harm the company’s already damaged reputation.
I’m actually surprised they haven’t created an account here yet. I’ve been on forums for years and many brands setup accounts to reply back to customer concerns.

Brands that care. Scott Settlemire was an extremely active member on the Camaro5 forum keeping us posted and escalating issues as needed. Ram does what Ram does.

most people who come to forums are looking for solutions to issues

Not sure what you mean 😂 but I did reach 500 miles and yeah I guess the tune does unlock the engine was able to hit peak HP. Wasn't able to before For what is worth, I'm in love with this truck it just rips. Sure I had the battery issue but unless I have a catastrophic failure absolutely no regrets.
Great to hear! And SHOCKING about the tune lock for break-in ;)

I'll be flying out to drive mine back in next week or so and wife convinced me to bring car seat and the guy that occupies it. We will brave the 2 day trek back and prob bring jumper and charger with us just in case.....

@testerdahl how you feeling about engineers and real-world issues now? Be the change, big guy.

I feel great! Thanks for asking.

Ha Ha, Ram cares is monitoring this forum.. instead of responding to concerns they are just pushing the button to deplete your battery and turn on the check engine light if you complain publicly about Stellantis. ;)

Hopefully you wouldn't need them maybe just drive around the dealership for a bit lol. And check the fuse boxes no idea if it can be a culprit but both engine and beneath the steering wheel aot of them I was able to push in a bit more

So, we need to complain privately ;)

LMAO, I will DEFINITELY do that. I'll have to fly out with extra steering wheel so little guy can get in on the lap action

bring a Harley - better than a spare tire or battery

The airline would probably charge a kidney or two to load a Harley and then wife would take whatever manhood she lets me retain if I tossed my littlest fella on a bike.

I do like the idea in theory but it might be better to just buy a boat while I'm out there a chart a course home that's adjacent to rivers, fjords and tributaries so I could just boat it home in case of emergency.

funny story years back moving from FL to CO ... wanted the moving company to move my FLTRX in the moving truck, and I was worried about storage, safety and strap down etc .... driver said, here we will put it right here next to his own soft tail custom he traveled with regularly ... felt much better.

There is an engineering case for the wire harness creating theses misfires. The injector command from the pcm is on the ground side. SO if this is the case if the injector harness shorted t ground it would explain the injector wide open and creating this hydrolock concern and the melted cats that others have seen. I sure hope that dealer just rolls you out of the truck or Stellantis makes it right with a buy back/replacement or expedites the engine and repair. The wire repair has been successful on several misfire concerns I have seen. I cant say for sure in your case, but most likely the culprit.

Send me a PM if I can help in anyway.

THis is great. I think this is most of the misfire issues hopefully
