That’s a great point tooHow many miles do you have on it? Wonder if it's potentially break in limited like they block the launch control

It's not a conspiracy theory if you're concerned and about to buy a truck that appears to have cover-ups for mechanical problems and you're about to go under contract for $80K. Nobody is conclusively stating that Stellantis has done this but pre-purchase customers are expressing concerns. I don't see any fault in that.We have absolutely no way of knowing if it was intentional, or if it’s a calibration release error that got mixed up with the actual recall calibration for exports.
Mixup in error is more plausible.
Crying that they did it purposely and nefariously is more of a conspiracy theory.

I respect and appreciate your experience and wisdom. Sanity-check is important counterbalance. Not you, Jimmy07, but some guys will stick their heads in the sand like an ostrich when things get stressful. I don't enjoy this kind of issue either, but I ain't built that way. I gotta know what I'm buying. If you're an oily manufacturer trying to pull a fast one, you're clapping your hands when your customers stress out and look down at their shoes.
What's happening in this thread right now is the real valuable of hobby bulletin boards on the Internet, IMO.
If we can get to the bottom of something here and expose a problem, food and drinks are on me for EVERYONE all night.
I wouldn't say they are hiding something just yet. I'm sure someone is happy to tell you, but the info isn't openly published. Different industry, but when I was a Service manager for a Powersports Dealer / Harley Dealer, software updates would come out with very vague descriptions of what for, but they were full of minor adjustments that weren't always properly relayed to us. Many of times I would have to reach out to a rep. to get more specific info to relay that to a customer. I'm sure it will all come out in due time. Or it's already buried in a bulletin email somewhere that most dealers have deleted, ignored, or just missed. It's not a conspiracy theory if you're concerned and about to buy a truck that appears to have cover-ups for mechanical problems and you're about to go under contract for $80K. I have seen the 118 somewhere, but I can no longer find it. I do see 0-100 time. 98 is close to 100, but not 100. lol
No need. I confirmed this morning that my truck will not go over 98 mph after new PCM and flash.Who's going to take theirs in first and have the service tech confirm they can't exceed 98?
But you’re still waiting to pass the “Break in” period correct? No need. I confirmed this morning that my truck will not go over 98 mph after new PCM and flash.
Correct. I will report back once I get home, but I am almost certain it went at least 100 before the new PCMBut you’re still waiting to pass the “Break in” period correct?

Yea I'm so close to cancelling mine. I just checked the app, it has 52 miles on it already and it's still in Detroit. I ordered the Mark Dodge. That's ALOT of miles which can only mean one possible thing...lemon pile of shit???The final countdown of a nine month wait should be joy and excitement. Instead, its anxiety. Another curious thing, my dealership shows a status of "awaiting final inspection" for several weeks now. Related to same issue?
No. Mine had similar miles. No running issues just AWFUL QC. Going in Monday to fix all the issues. As long as it comes out good, I can’t tell you how much fun it is and how great a truck it is. No regrets.Yea I'm so close to cancelling mine. I just checked the app, it has 52 miles on it already and it's still in Detroit. I ordered the Mark Dodge. Ok thanks Chris! This is the biggest psychological brain fuck process I've gone through since the military, so bear with me guys, major ptsd over here by RAM, lol. Seriously though, makes me super nervous because I cannot mentally deal with all the major issues especially considering any safety concerns for my family, any family for that matter...it's just my kinda "luck".No. Mine had similar miles. AND it’s even better with the DiabloSport. If I hadn’t installed it, never would have guessed how much it improves an already great truck!

I get it! Every story I read on here I wonder if a shoe is going to drop. It hasn’t, and really, life is too short. God, Family, Friends and if you are so blessed, have all the fun you can, because the worry won’t change anything.Ok thanks Chris!
