Software version 68733601AA - 98 MPH speed limiter

Driving home last night (after finding a private track off public roads, of course) and was able to hit 102 easily. I pulled off it there as I was only trying to test the 98.

I checked for an ECU update this weekend... only an update for the ignition control module. TSB for multiple cylinder misfires.

Have you been able to get your ECU straightened out?

It's a phone app and RAM vehicle feature that allows you to track your vehicle remotely via GPS, it has a service portal that shows vehicle service history, outstanding recalls, upcoming maintenance service recommendations, etc. It also allows you to remotely start the vehicle via GPS. I believe it's free for first year of ownership and then you pay a small annual fee for it.

It provides comfort if your vehicle is in the detail shop or getting work done so you can see at any given moment exactly where it is. I could watch if my truck was moved from one location in dealership parking lot to another. It's very accurate.
Just FYI…mine seems to miss trips. Dealer took mine on a 14 miles diagnostic drive & I have no record of that trip in my Ram app. I only know because the total mileage changed.

Maybe it blocks customer tracking when the diagnostic tool is plugged into the OBD port? But, I’m pretty sure some of my personal trips never registered.

Same. The app logs trips maybe 75% of the time. No rhyme or reason to it. I noticed today it logged my wife's trip to work at 9.5 miles. I know it's not that far. Verified Google maps show the same route to be 5 miles.

In case anyone still cares or ended up with the new flash that limits top speed, I talked with my case manager today and she relayed from engineering that a new flash is in the works and being tested, but it's still 8+ weeks out. Just a FYI for y'all.

thank you for the update. I appreciate it.

and no I just keep checking up on witech to see when the update will be here. Like I said there was an update to the ignition module (ELDOR!?!?!?! please no) but not to the ECU/PCM

Thank you for the info. That puts this paranoia flea circus to bed once and for all. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The thing that upset me the most about this detune scandal was the idea of Stellantis denying the biggest advantage of the Hurricane engine. By design a straight six is internally balanced. It was engineered to run long and hard upstairs (pun not intended) with very little risk of damage from noise (vibration). It doesn't need a harmonic balancer or a $20K engine with an internally balanced crankshaft and four-bolt main caps.

If these engines are designed and built like they should be, we will soon see speed shops putting bigger turbos and fuel systems on them and wearing out Redeyes. The potential is there. That's the main reason I bought it. With turbos and inline six...sky's the limit.

Then all the keyboard cowboys on the Internet that put down the RHO and compare it to the TRX will have to put on dunce caps and stand in the corner. If I see another video about 'EXAUST NOTE COMPARRISON' I'm going to puke in my soup.
