Dealer contacted repeatedly…same answer…we know nothing. Won’t order a Level 1 as backup. Can’t tell me why.

9.16 scheduled for me. We are in D status though. Definitely worried about what’s going on with level 0. Closed for ordering again.

My tracker showed me as scheduled since 9/30. Reached out this weekend to salesperson she responded back yesterday to inform me I was not actually scheduled and that I could check sometime the middle of November for a update. I'm pretty much ready to forfeit the $1000 and move on to something else. I'm a June order I can only imagine how frustrated the April and May orders are.

Can dealerships/manufacturers take deposits, issue VINs, and confirm orders only to back out? Do we have any recourse as customers?

If it is a dealership/manufacturer created issue, they must refund the deposit.

I'm pretty much ready to forfeit the $1000 and move on to something else. I'm a June order I can only imagine how frustrated the April and May orders are.

Did you order through Mark Dodge? They at least try to keep the timeframe reasonable. If they don’t get you your truck within 9 months they will refund your deposit.

Honestly at this point ram just needs to get rid of the tracking app. It does not work, does not get updated correctly and causes people to get upset. Best to just have customers order their trucks and the dealer calls when the truck gets delivered.

I would have to agree with you. I feel like a crazy man checking it so often lol. Mine was in production for like 5 days before it updated, it’s been in production for 14 days now. I know it’s probably out of production now. The estimated delivery date is Jan 6th.

You would have to stay off forums and social media in general. Seeing trucks being built, waiting on deliveries, YouTubers driving them... salesmen and RAM would be bombarded even more than they already are. This doesn't include the 20 min plus wait time for customer care for them to tell you all they see is the tracker you see. Just playing devils advocate.

I open the tracker once a day or two to see order date then a billion TBDs since April. When I see anything other than that I will probably have a heart attack and die.

I did order through Mark Dodge. Only communication I've had with them since the order was I received a email stating it was scheduled. Which as I stated it actually wasn't and I was informed after reaching out to them. The check back with me the middle of November response for some reason just didn't set well with me. All's good though it's just a truck/toy. In all actuality it's not even a practical means of transportation for me personally in the construction business. Just something I wanted.
