Just purchased truck few hours ago and it died while driving on highway

Who did you call to get that warranty? I would love to get something for this because it’s absurd. If I got stuck with no lights on the highway in the left lane, I most definitely would have been rear ended at 70 mph on a dark truck.

Any word on your truck? Is your dealership open on Sunday?

No all dealership are closed on sundays in Colorado.. so they will only get to it tomorrow. As soon as I know anything I’ll let you guys know.

That sucks this is around the 7th person with problems with thier new truck on this forum. I would be curious to know how many people have pick up thier trucks on here without any issues. It's starting to seem it's a larger issue then a few lemons or less than 1%

I'm starting to get serious doubts about taking deliver which sucks because it's an awesome truck, just not willing to take the risk with 3 kids and truck dying on the freeway.

Right now it seems like truly just luck of the draw. Plenty of people on both sides of the fence here.

Way too many are having issues, but it isn't like every single truck is.

Sorry this happened to you! I had full plans to fly to Mark & drive my truck back to CO, with all these issue I'm thinking I'll just have it shipped, at least when it shits out on me I wont be in the middle of nowhere!

That sounds similar to mine. Hopefully with new batteries and checking fuse boxes it'll be good. I'll be reaching 500+ miles today so I'll be reporting back if any other issues come up

I gambled $10.00 once in Vegas. Can you guess which side of the issue I'm on with gambling 80k and potential life endangering, or at minimum, life pain in the rear issues? This vehicle was a want, not a need. I'm 50/50 whether I'll accept delivery.

Yep I get it. I'm not disputing any of that, just noting that there is a group of owners who have had no problems.

Mine just shipped and I wish I was purely excited and not nervous as hell about this purchase. It's supposed to be fun to buy a new toy.

Sorry to hear that. I’ve had my RHO for 10 days now and already have 800 miles on it from traveling back and forth to the airport to pick up and drop off family that came in for Christmas. My truck has been perfect so far. It’s been everything I hoped it would be. I hope they get you fixed up and going, and I hope we both have worry free RHOs.

800 miles and my RHO has been flawless so far. Hopefully it stays that way.

I sent Brian an email last night that I was canceling the order and then this morning I said hold off. I couldn't sleep all night. Its a difficult decision. I know - first world problems but it shouldn't be this stressful. It should be enjoyable! Sometimes having this much information at your fingertips can have a negative effect. Ignorance can be bliss at times, but knowing / seeing what some are going through. Damn.....it sucks and makes the decision difficult. I don't need this truck and happy with my current daily DDHC. I'll feel like a complete ass giving up a great car, take a bath on depreciation just to get stuck on the side of the road holding my key chain with a brand new 85k anchor that Ram can't fix or doesn't know what's wrong with it.

Not sure what you mean but I did reach 500 miles and yeah I guess the tune does unlock the engine was able to hit peak HP. Wasn't able to before For what is worth, I'm in love with this truck it just rips. Sure I had the battery issue but unless I have a catastrophic failure absolutely no regrets.

Did your battery issue get resolved?

Replaced the batteries at 70 miles, currently at 550 so far so good

I'm sure the batteries weren't causing misfires and P0420 cat errors. We want the more serious issues fixed, and resolved. Throwing a new battery in a 86k truck doesn't fix anything.
